About Oligo Professionnel
Oligo Professionnel is a second-generation family business, founded in Montreal in 1986. Run by three brothers, the company has become a market leader in healthy and safe hair dye production. Over the last couple of years, Oligo has been expanding exponentially and has grown from 30 employees to over 100 employees. Committed to providing the best training, continuous technical support, and the renowned salon-only Oligo Professionnel line, the company has become a dominant force in the hair care industry and is continuing to revolutionize and expand.
Why Oracle NetSuite?
Oligo has been experiencing rapid growth over the past couple of years, which is why the executives decided to begin the implementation of an ERP. Having previously managed the business with excel spreadsheets, they needed software that would support their evolution. After much research, the Cohens decided that Oracle NetSuite would be the most suitable ERP to support their expansion goals.

With the recent global pandemic, Oligo Professionnel strategically switched their business growth plan from a focus on international exportation to building their online presence – mainly through establishing a web store. Capitalizing on NetSuite’s integration capabilities, Oligo Professionnel and the Big Bang team’s next project will focus on integrating the software with Amazon and Shopify in order to provide the company with visibility on their online inventory.

Before beginning the implementation process, Oligo Professionnel was ready for the road ahead. The main piece of advice they put forward is the value of hiring an in-house professional to manage the process. The brothers hired a full-time in-house recent university graduate with a logistics degree to work on the project full time.
